5 Things That Nintendo Is Doing Right / 5 Things That Nintendo Is Doing Wrong

Nintendo has mad ea few questionable decisions lately. Now, I am going to list off the best and worst of them in my first Blogger post.

WHAT THEY DID RIGHT

1.  Made Amiibo - Perhaps they should have stated that some Amiibos (Amiibo, Amiibi? What is the plural anyway) would be discontinued at launch, but I love collecting them. And the amount of attention there getting on the internet right now has been great. I always have /r/amiibo on in a tab, no matter what I am doing.

My Amiibo Collection

2. Theme Park in Universal Studios - It could totally suck, but right now I am excited for this, judgng by how great the Wizarding World of Harry Potter was. Hopefully it's a bit bigger.

3. Didn't abort ship on the Wii U as soon as they saw it failing - There is still hope for this console. They didn't repeat the mistake of the SEGA Genesis.

4. Brought back the Nintendo World Championship - Should be interesting, I don't know how well it will do but it can't hurt.

5. Touch Screen - The whole gamepad is innovative. While for a lot of games I use the Wii U Pro as it's controls suit most games better. However the Gamepad was a great idea.

WHAT THEY DID WRONG

1. The YouTube Situation - Pretty self explanatory, honestly. What the hell were they thinking? Look at what YouTube has done for games such as Last of Us or Indie games like Five Night's at Freddy's.
Mario makes it look like it benefits you in someway whatsoever. Liar.

2. The Level Select Screens - For Super Mario Bros. U, Super Mario 3D Land and the latest other Mario games, the Level Select went back to the SNES Level Select where you walk over where you walk over to select a level and stuff. That was cool once....it was nostalgic. Now it's them taking the easy way out. It takes me out of the game.

3. Bowser's Minions Dance - What the hell! This may not be a decision made by the corporates, but it pisses me off enough that I had to include it. It breaks the fourth wall, and not in a cool Deadpool-like way. I saw it, and I thought it was amazing and cute, as Koopa's are super cool, hence my name. However I always liked the idea of a Koopa who rebelled against Bowser's regime and became a Lone Wolf. Just another Mario fantasy. Also, Goomba's tilt there heads as well.

4. 1 Gamepad - In case you weren't aware, Gamepad's are not sold without a Wii U Console. So basically, if you break it, your screwed. I have heard horror stories about this. That's just a stupid idea, Nintendo. I also see no marketing ploy with this, unless they like laughing at all the people raging about it online.

5. Falling Behind the Times - Nintendo still thinks that a Game Console can only be used for games. While the Wii U now has Hulu and Netflix, it is falling behind because they marketed it just for Childs Games, whereas the PS4 and XBox One offer far more then just gaming. Also, the new Mario level select screen shows that they are too nostalgic right now to go far. There like a little posse from School that's old now and wont let any new kids in, cause they need to be well-known.

There you go, that's purely my uneducated opinion, so if I got everything wrong, feel free to tell me.

I look to be a multimedia Gaming Entertainer soon, and this is the start.
